The best Christchurch Wedding Venue in my opinion is Trent’s Vineyard. Now, I should state a disclaimer first that I shoot 90% of my weddings in the Queenstown area and am much better-acquainted with the venues down here than those in Christchurch. However, I often get inquiries from couples planning to get married in Canterbury and wanting advice on venues there. Also, my family is based in Canterbury and I do shoot the odd wedding up that way so I do have some insight on the matter. For thee reasons, I decided to put together a wee blog post full of info and photos about Trent’s Vineyard and why I think it is one of, if not, the best Venues in Christchurch.

christchurch wedding venue – why i think trent’s vineyard is the best!
I will add more info here as soon as I have a chance, but the reasons wjy I think Trent’s Vineyard is one of the best venues in Christchurch are really simple but powerful;
- The trees and greenery mean that you always have soft light and a beautiful natural backdrop, no matter what the weather is doing (unlike say a heli-wedding, where if the skies go grey or white you have a pretty drab colourless background).
- There are so many beautiful spots to shoot at Trent’s Vineyard that you don’t need to go anywhere else for location photos. And this in turn results in a wedding day that is more relaxed and more time spent with friends and family.
- The food, setting and service at Trent’s are simply second to none and make your wedding planning so much less stressful!
